Digispin can support your web delivery whether you are a startup at the very first stage of realising a new business idea, or a mature business that wants to build on your success.
Here we've selected a number of recent and ongoing projects that we feel best describe the range of work we undertake at Digispin, from complete site design and build to management and consultation.
Lower down you'll find some comments on previous work that Digispin has been involved in.
We have been working with Thanksdarling.com for over two years now. We were brought on board to help bring some order to a recent, troubled update of their site that had been outsourced overseas.
We took control of their hosting, e-commerce and site development needs and managed the delivery of the then stalled site, further developing it until this year when we implemented a complete redesign of the store.
The site is managed from a desktop CMS which we maintain (with plans for a web based on the horizon). We have also created Flash content and recently taken over their email marketing.
Built in .NET with SQL Server.
Rose Morris Musical instruments - www.rosemorris.com - is one of the most recognised music shops in the UK. We were asked to take control of their web store as they were finding their existing agency too inflexible.
After a review of their web delivery we set up and configured a new server, bug-fixed their existing site, then delivered a complete redesign of the store in 2008. The web store database is updated daily from their shop database (Microsoft POS, SQL Server).
We continue to develop the site and manage Rose Morris's email marketing, from design to deployment, as well as creating in-store Flash/video files that take content live from the web store database.
Built with PHP, MySQL, Flash, XML.
We were hired by Fotowars.com after their first choice agency had simply failed to deliver, and we set about designing and coding the site from scratch. The site used a combination of web and server technologies to enable children to create personalised game cards from their own photos.
Ready to print PDF files of card packs were sent live to the printers and the cards mailed to the buyer the following day.
Built with PHP, MySQL & Flash (On Linux)
Arc Capital and Income hired us to redesign a suite of four sites - each specific to one arm of their business but linked to their peers - both to improve the branding of the sites and to impose some clarity on a range of similar yet disparate offerings.
In addition they needed full, web-based control of content and structure across the sites, with flexible permission levels and shared, single sign-on access for registered users across multiple sites/domains.
Built with Drupal.
Below is a guide to some of the previous work carried out by Digispin.

Our work for Watson Associates shows how skills and flexibility developed in the corporate sector can provide simple, functional and well crafted design to companies that require only a minimal web presence and have a budget to match.
